What is the Process for Clear Aligners Treatment?
During your initial consultation we will examine your teeth and discuss your goals to see if clear aligners are the best option for you. Not everyone is a good candidate and some cases may still require traditional braces or other orthodontic treatment.
Our expert team will take impressions and digital scans of your teeth, which will be used to create a 3D model of your mouth. You will be able to see how your teeth will look both during and after treatment, to make sure you are happy with your new smile.
You will receive your custom-made aligners that are unique to your teeth, as well as a treatment plan. You will be given several aligners in the series and it is important that you wear the aligners for the prescribed time before moving onto the next.
Your aligners must be worn for 20-22 hours per day to be effective, and they should only be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing. The length of treatment can vary but typically ranges from 6 to 18 months.
